Will an inexpensive CD player have enough watts to send the music to a gymnasium sound system?

Chadrock . asked:

I teach PE in a gymnasium and I like to have music pumped in for running/free time/a dance unit. Will a cheap CD player, connected to a gymnasium sound system via the headphone jack output and an adapter into RCA plugs work well?

Your CD player would not make the difference. It all depends on the receiver your are using. I have a regualr CD player conected to my garage stereo and it sounds very good!!!
