Hi, I am buying a new Kenwood CD Player for my car. I have a really big car radio, and I need to get the case that slots in to make it mould with the dashboard and but a smaller cd player in there. Does anyone know what these are called?
chunk of plastic, spacer.
mounting kit. The bigger hole is double DIN size, the Kenwood is single DIN.

The bezel is correct.
I don’t know what it’s called. However I recently had the same situation. I went to a local car stereo install shop. Bring old and new units. Know YR/Make/Model of car.
Ask for the needed parts to convert/install.
May need: Wire adapter connecters-Antena lead adapter-Faceplate adapters.
This will cost between $30-70 depending on what’s needed. If you need wire connectors, buy them from the same shop or solder. Radio Shack connectors are junk!
It is called a Dash Kit. They are made by different companies. The most common company is called Metra. If you had said what kind of car you have I could have told you the dash kit needed for it. You will also need a wire harness to adapt your cars wires to the new radio’s wires. DO NOT cut of the factory wire harness that attached to the back of your factory radio.
