The best cassette deck I ever owned was a Denon..it was 3 head and I bought it used from a friend.. I can’t remember what model it was and I don’t have it any more..that kenwood is a double cassette deck and most dual cassette decks have only 2 heads a side there were a few that had 3 heads on one side but most did not. You can tell how many heads it has by just looking inside with a flash light..look at both sides and if one is different with a sandwich head and the other is not it is probably three head.
