What built-in digital tuners are compatible with a QAM tuner?

qam is quadrature amplitude modulation . What your looking for is a dvd burner with a digital tuner in it. qam is the digital standard for transmission, cable and OTA.
if it says digital it’s a qam tuner
QAM isn’t the standard for OTS, 8VSB is.
QAM is what you need to look for in the manual or spec list.
There is a good chance if it has an ATSC tuner it can tune QAM.
About the only digital tuners that cannot tune QAM are the SD digital converters made to get digital broadcast on an older TV. Those are prohibited from tuning QAM as part of the coupon program to purchase them.
