it’s called the ‘in yo face’, bounce it as fast you can to the left of your hand, and bounce back to the right, and stick your left hand out and shove it in the defenders face and say “the hand just owned you Biooottttchh” in the most ghettoized basketball talk you can utter. The defender will fall on his **** in shock. Guaranteed.
PUt all ur weight into one side and quickly crossover to the other, if u have a quick responsing defender on u and quickly reacts to that, do a quick between the legs to the other side to protect the ball and drive in for the easy 2.
well as long as you have good handles, then what type of crossover you use really isnt the problem, just how efficiently you use that crossover. Its good to mix it up anyways, because if your playing against a defender with a high defensive IQ, then you wont be able to break him with the same move over and over again. Remember to use change of speed while dribbling, because thats wat a good crossover takes. Defense is all about reaction. All you have to do is keep the defense guessing. Thats why you can slow up your dribble, and the defense will slow up as it sees you doing, then as its slowing up, you speed up again, and blow right past him.
