How much do piano tuners charge?

My piano tuner usually charges from 60-150 dollars
Not less than 90 dollars to tune, here.( They quote by the hour at times, or estimate from that up.)
Depends on how long they spend, how hard the job is.
Mine just fell out of tune when I opened the window on a damp day, so I am back to shrill. You can make a bit of money on old pianos by merely softening
the voicings, that is to poke holes in the felts.
I think I am going to learn to do that myself. It actually helped with he shrillness until I opened the window.
Old piano. But it sure beats nothing. I am not a piano tuner. You surely can make some money. I cannot
afford to have my piano tuned. Have mercy on people.
You would bring a lot of joy and happiness to them.
