How do you install a cassette tape player inside a 2007 Corolla?

Keri P asked:

I just bought a 2007 Corolla which came with a stock radio/CD player. I would like to be able to listen to books-on-tape. How do you uninstall the stock radio/CD player and install a CD/cassette tape player? Which stereo system do you recommend? And is it possible to leave the stock stereo system and install just the cassette deck? Thanks for your help in advance.

This is the best awnser…use a walkman. Don’t ***** up your new car by doing that. You can get a walkman and a device that takes 1 AA battery that plugs up in the headphone plug. It transfers it to FM on a channel like 88.5 and works very well. Or get on cd’s if you have that in the car.

use your home PC to convert your tapes to CD through the 1/8inch jack in the PC (MIC IN) -SAVE-BURN – TO – D:\*.*
